About The Position

As a PIT Operator at GXO, you will help provide supply chain solutions by operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, handling products and materials, and supporting warehouse receiving and shipping processes. The role is scheduled for the day shift, Tuesday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A resume is required. The position requires safe, certified operation of powered industrial lift trucks, flexibility to work overtime when needed, and the ability to perform physically demanding warehouse work in hot or cold environments.

Requirements

• Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• Submit a resume.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and more than 75 pounds occasionally.
• Be able to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
• Be able to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Be able to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of warehouse experience.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner accurately.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean work environment.
• Demonstrate commitment to process excellence.
• Understand and follow the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
