About The Position

Greif is a global performance-packaging company operating in 40 countries and serving industries with tailored packaging solutions. The Forklift Operator supports shipment handling and order fulfillment, including receiving, tracking, loading, unloading, preparing, labeling, and stocking materials. The role also involves maintaining an orderly shipping-supply area, documenting damaged merchandise and required information, performing routine quality checks, and following safety and organizational standards. The position is identified as a night shift role.

Requirements

• Typically less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solution-oriented problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Receive and track shipments.
• Load or unload shipments in delivery trucks.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
• Label and stockpile shipments according to size, shape, and type.
• Maintain a clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Record and manage impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Complete reports by entering required information.
• Perform routine quality checks on finished products.
• Provide quality service by following organizational standards.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
