About The Position

The Forklift Operator loads and unloads trailers containing wooden pallets and moves pallets and wood within the plant to support manufacturing production. The role involves handling deliveries, transporting freshly cut and recycled wood to worktable areas, and stacking finished products in trailers or storage areas at a safe height. Operators are expected to work safely and efficiently alongside other plant personnel in a labor-intensive environment.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallet and/or wood deliveries and move them to the proper locations inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable areas.
• Stack finished products in trailers or storage areas up to a safe height.
• Lift, stack, and transport materials while maintaining a safe working environment for other plant personnel.
