Forklift Operator AM Weekend Shift
About The Position
Bluegrass Supply Chain Services is hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler in Findlay, Ohio. The role operates in a modern, technology-enabled warehouse supporting major brands, with an emphasis on safety, teamwork, and advancement from within. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour. The schedule is Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Overtime is available based on business needs. The position includes paid time off accruing from day one, a 401(k) with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance, and opportunities to advance into Lead, Trainer, and Supervisor positions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet or seated for extended shifts.
- Comfort using scanners and basic warehouse technology.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate electric, propane, stand-up, reach, and cherry picker forklifts.
- Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to move and track inventory.
- Load, unload, stack, and stage products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report safety issues.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Support team members in meeting daily production goals.
