About The Position

The Cary Company is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role involves shipping and receiving, preparing customer orders and shipments, assisting customers during deliveries and pickups, maintaining warehouse safety and organization, moving materials, and completing shipping and receiving documentation accurately. The listed work hours have start times of 2 p.m., 3 p.m., or 4 p.m., with corresponding end times of 6 p.m., 7 p.m., or 8 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading and checking in merchandise.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare shipments.
• Provide customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
• Properly mark materials and ensure accurate inventory counts.
• Organize the warehouse, read and interpret orders, and move materials as needed.
• Prepare and verify shipping and receiving documents for accuracy and completeness.
