About The Position
American Lumper Services is seeking qualified sit-down and stand-up forklift operators for a growing warehouse management company in the Braintree, MA area. This is a contract position for approximately 4 months, with potential for discussion during the interview process. The role involves assisting in unloading and loading trucks using equipment, staging pallets for loading, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
- Forklift experience with certification
- Must undergo a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must possess basic reading and math skills
- Must have an eye for detail
- Must be able to lift 25+ lbs consistently
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
- Must perform other duties as assigned
- Must have reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist in unloading trucks while operating equipment.
- Assist in loading trucks while operating equipment.
- Stage pallets for loading on the proper dock locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
