Gossner Foods is hiring a Forklift Operator for its graveyard shift. The role involves safely operating a forklift in a warehouse racking system, maneuvering through tight spaces, and placing 2,000-pound pallets up to 16 feet high without damaging racks or rails. Operators scan pallets from production, use computer and inventory systems to identify products and storage locations, learn equipment and loading procedures, and recognize the company’s paper labels and wooden pallets. The position also includes other duties assigned by a supervisor. Training pay starts at $18.50 per hour, with the potential to reach $20.50 per hour after meeting all skill levels. The schedule is six days a week, with weekend incentive pay. Gossner Foods is a family business with three locations in the western United States and more than 60 years of cheese-making experience.
