About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for its warehouse in Frankfort, Indiana. The role handles food products in a clean, organized facility and supports warehouse fulfillment and distribution. Pay is $21.00 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 per hour, paid weekly. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; mandatory Sunday overtime applies during the busy season. Equipment includes a sit-down forklift and an automated pallet jack (Walkie Rider), and operators must be comfortable driving the sit-down forklift in reverse.

Benefits begin at 30 days, and PTO starts accruing in the first month, with up to 80 hours accrued in the first year. Requirements

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within the contract's performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load and unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork, including picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for aspects of the automated packing system during core production shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
