About The Position

L&M Corrugated is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Forklift Operator to support its operation on a part-time, on-call basis. The role helps keep the facility running during busy periods, peak production, and staff absences by moving materials and finished products safely and efficiently. On-call team members gain hands-on experience in the facility and may be considered for advancement as opportunities arise.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Availability to work as needed, including on short notice.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts when called in.
• Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Reliability and responsiveness when scheduled or called in.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently and accurately.
• Transport finished goods to designated storage locations.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory movements and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with general warehouse support and design/CAD table support as needed.
