About The Position
This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position is responsible for providing operating forklift on a daily basis in the Cutup Area. The position must be to obtain forklift license and able to change battery as needed (training will available). Must also be able to maneuver pallet jack around tables and belts, be able to continuously grip control handle of the jack, driver must be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel, and any other duties assigned by Manager. This position is also required to complete various log sheets. This position will be exposed to possible cold temperatures, and wet conditions. This position will require walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.
Requirements
- Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to obtain forklift license.
- Must be able to change battery as needed.
- Must be able to maneuver pallet jack around tables and belts.
- Must be able to continuously grip control handle of the jack.
- Driver must be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel.
- Must be able to complete various log sheets.
- Must be able to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
- Receive training as required.
- Perform various positions as required/assigned.
- Operate forklift on a daily basis in the Cutup Area.
- Load and unload combos, skids, and move product to necessary locations.
- Obtain forklift license and change battery as needed.
- Maneuver pallet jack around tables and belts.
- Continuously grip control handle of the jack.
- Be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel.
- Complete various log sheets.
