About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position is responsible for providing operating forklift on a daily basis in the Cutup Area.

Requirements

• 6 months continuous work history with single employer in the past 12 months
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Must be a current team member at this facility or complex, or interested in transferring from another Tyson facility and express interest through their local HR Partner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned
• Loading and unloading combos, skids, and moving product to necessary location
• Obtain forklift license
• Change battery as needed
• Maneuver pallet jack around tables and belts
• Continuously grip control handle of the jack
• Be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel
• Complete various log sheets
• Perform other duties assigned by Manager
