The position requires lifting freight and other objects of varying shapes, sizes and weights—frequently up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 70 pounds—and safely walking and standing for extended periods on a dock that may be slippery. The operator must also reach, including overhead, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary. This is a night-shift role. The expected pay range is $24.37 to $29.93 per hour, with pay on an annual step progression; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience and skill set. The position is Motor Carrier Act Exempt. Full health insurance benefits are available on day one, along with life and disability insurance, up to 13 days of PTO during the first year, nine paid company holidays, a 401(k) option with company match, and education assistance. Applicants who receive a conditional offer may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.
