About The Position

KLS Logistics is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse, load and unload shipments, and help ensure products are handled and shipped accurately. The role is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. Operators may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

The position is listed as Forklift Dry U and works second shift, 5:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. The stated pay rate is $20.19 per hour. Forklift operators spend 80% of the specified shift loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.

Requirements

• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Must be detail-oriented and a team player.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Previous picking experience.
• At least six months of experience using a commercial warehouse management system (WMS), such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
