About The Position

The Dry Blending Operator works under the guidance of the Dry Blending Lead Operator to produce dry blended products. The role operates within FDA FSMA and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) requirements, following food safety standards for the safe production of food in the plant and offices and the defined risk levels for each area.

The schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The position is full-time and temp-to-hire, located in Racine, Wisconsin. Pay is $21, with a $2 increase upon permanent hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain the day's picking sheets from the department supervisor.
• Stage the proper ingredients and scan the order into the computer system.
• Ensure ingredients are dumped in the proper order and that the blend runs for 30 minutes.
• Monitor the metal detector and all processing equipment for proper operation.
• Ensure bags are packed to the proper weight and are labeled and sealed properly.
• Complete required documentation.
• Scan finished product into inventory.
• Assist in or complete other duties as assigned.
