Forklift Operator / Material Handler

About The Position
Conduct daily activities relating to receiving materials into the warehouse and ensure safe and accurate storage and retrieval of inventory for production. The role operates a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product; moves product efficiently from staging or storage areas; and pulls and prepares product for production, ensuring the exact number and type of product. The operator also ensures inbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and reports quality variances.
Requirements
- Experience driving a forklift.
- Knowledge of computerized inventory and tracking systems.
- Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to operate a personal computer.
- Ability to communicate effectively and read and interpret documents.
- Knowledge of a bar coding system.
- Experience in warehouse operations.
