About The Position
Atkore is seeking a Fork Lift Operator based in Houston, Texas. Reporting to the Supervisor, this role has broad responsibilities within the production department. The position works the night shift, with flexibility required depending on projects and workload. The operator loads and unloads products and materials for production lines, supplies raw materials to production lines to support continuous production, and completes paperwork related to shipping and warehousing. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Within three months, the successful candidate is expected to complete required training, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and become well-versed in Atkore’s Business System and the role’s importance to daily operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves
- Previous work experience operating a forklift or similar equipment.
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Previous work experience with paperwork and scanning.
- Knowledge of lean production processes.
Responsibilities
