About The Position

Cummings Electrical is hiring traveling Electrical Foremen for commercial and/or industrial construction settings. The role installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment, provides on-site direction to crews, and supports work planning, scheduling, quality, code compliance, and safety. Foremen also help ensure requested materials are expedited and received as needed. Requirements

A valid state Journeyman’s License.
At least 4 years of experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and project managers about project progress, issues, and recommendations.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Prepare, read, and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine wiring layout, equipment, and fixture placement.
Assist the Superintendent in planning work and schedules.
Inspect crew installations for quality and ensure code and safety standards are met.
Provide on-site direction, mentoring, and training to Apprentice Electricians.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in new commercial and/or industrial construction settings.
Perform layout and termination work and understand electrical drawings.
Ensure requested materials are expedited and received as needed.
Communicate project progress, issues, and recommendations to customers, team members, and project managers.
