Server - IHOP (DFW)
About The Position
SSP America is hiring a Server for IHOP in the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport restaurant portfolio. Servers engage with guests and serve food and beverages in a fast-paced, changing work environment. The role involves greeting and delighting guests, making recommendations based on their preferences, and providing attentive service. The position offers $2.13 per hour plus tips, open availability, advancement opportunities, free parking, an employee meal, and benefits. SSP pays an average of 80% of monthly premiums per coverage level and offers dental, vision, and other voluntary plan coverages.
Responsibilities
- Answer questions and offer suggestions regarding food, beverages, and facility services.
- Accurately input orders into the POS system.
- Prepare dishes for service, including ladling soup, tossing salads, cutting portions of pie and desserts, and brewing coffee.
- Observe guests to anticipate their needs and respond to additional requests.
- Clear dishes from tables.
- Balance and reconcile assigned open and closed checks by totaling bills and accepting payments.
- Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Engage with guests, provide friendly service, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
