About The Position

Johnson Service Company, a division of Midlands Contracting, Inc., is seeking a Foreman to join our growing construction team. This position is based throughout Eastern Nebraska, and you can live anywhere in the region. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, dependability, and a willingness to travel. Most projects require being out of town Monday–Friday (home on weekends). The company provides hotel accommodations and a nightly per diem for meals while working out of town. This role offers year-round employment with no winter layoffs.

Requirements

Previous supervisory or management experience required.
Class A or B CDL required (or the ability and desire to obtain one).
Must be mechanically inclined.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently and assist with heavier loads as needed.
Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods.
Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Subject to an MVR and criminal history report.

Nice To Haves

Experience in pipeline cleaning and televising is preferred but not required—training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a two-person crew effectively.
Manage projects, including communication with city employees and engineers while maintaining professionalism.
Troubleshoot and manage difficult situations encountered during cleaning and televising operations.
Operate a pipeline observation computer system for televising (training provided).
Operate, maintain, and perform minor repairs of combo trucks used for jetting and vacuuming pipelines.
Track and enter daily manhours and production quantities.
Document performance feedback or issues clearly and professionally.
Abide by all company safety rules (safety training provided).
