About The Position
Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to join its growing team in the Philadelphia office. The role supports foreclosure matters from referral through conclusion and includes preparing legal documents, handling filings and recordings, maintaining case files and calendars, communicating with clients, and supporting attorneys and departmental needs. The ideal candidate has broad foreclosure experience, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to grow with the firm.
Requirements
- At least two years of related foreclosure experience.
- Broad knowledge of real estate default services.
- Superior organizational, research, and writing skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Able to manage a heavy workload.
- Confident and comfortable on the phone.
- Works well under pressure.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with LPS, Caseaware, Tempo, or similar systems.
Responsibilities
- Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- E-file documents with various court systems.
- Record documents.
- Maintain client and case files.
- Correspond with clients and provide updates.
- Maintain the filing and document system.
- Organize and maintain group calendars and provide and adhere to legal deadlines.
- Organize and archive documents related to completed and ongoing litigation.
- Prepare reports for attorneys.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and firm needs.
