About The Position

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to join its rapidly growing team in the Stamford, Connecticut office. The role involves managing foreclosure matters from referral through conclusion, including ordering title, obtaining payoffs, preparing deeds, assignments, and letters, meeting time-sensitive deadlines, and providing clients with timely updates and responses. The firm is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual eager to grow alongside the firm.

Requirements

At least 2 years of related foreclosure experience.
Broad knowledge of real estate default services.
Superior organizational, research, and writing skills.
Detail-oriented.
Able to work independently and driven by deadlines.
Able to manage a heavy workload.
Confident and comfortable on the phone.
Able to work well under pressure.

Nice To Haves

Experience with LPS, Caseaware, Tempo, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
E-file documents with various court systems.
Record documents.
Maintain client and case files.
Correspond with and update clients.
Maintain the filing and document system.
Organize and maintain group calendars and provide and adhere to legal deadlines.
Organize and archive documents related to completed and ongoing litigations.
Prepare reports for attorneys.
Manage foreclosure matters from referral through conclusion, including ordering title, obtaining payoffs, and preparing deeds, assignments, and letters.
Meet time-sensitive deadlines and provide timely client updates and responses.
