About The Position

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Litigation Counsel to manage a high-volume docket of residential foreclosure matters across Florida. This hands-on litigation role requires courtroom experience, strong motion practice, and the ability to handle cases from filing through final judgment without close supervision. The attorney will represent lenders, mortgage servicers, banks, and other financial institutions on the plaintiff side. The position is hybrid or fully remote, with court appearances around Florida as needed. Compensation is base salary plus bonus, with compensation up to $230K.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• At least 5 years of Florida foreclosure litigation experience.
• Track record handling contested foreclosures and motion practice.
• Plaintiff-side experience representing lenders, banks, servicers, or other financial institutions.
• Deep knowledge of Florida foreclosure law and court procedure.
• Experience carrying a high-volume caseload.
• Strong research, writing, advocacy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to courts throughout Florida as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage contested and uncontested residential foreclosure cases from start through judgment.
• Draft, file, and argue procedural and dispositive motions, including summary judgment motions.
• Appear at case management conferences, hearings, and other proceedings.
• Handle discovery, settlement negotiations, and contested matters.
• Independently manage a large caseload while maintaining deadlines, accuracy, and compliance.
• Stay current on Florida foreclosure law, court rules, and client-specific requirements.
• Communicate professionally and consistently with institutional clients.
• Use sound judgment to balance efficiency with quality.
• Remain poised and professional in court and under pressure.
