About The Position

Elder Ford of Tampa is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to provide Ford vehicle service throughout the Tampa Bay area and surrounding communities. The technician works from a company-provided mobile service van and supports retail, fleet, recall, and warranty work. This is a flat-rate position with earnings of up to $90 per flat-rate hour. The role involves performing maintenance, service, and repairs on Ford vehicles, including recall and warranty repairs. The technician diagnoses mechanical and electrical concerns, completes work efficiently and accurately to Ford manufacturer standards, and manages their workload while delivering quality service. Applicants must have previous Ford dealership or Ford Automotive Technician experience, Ford recall repair experience, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to work independently. A high school graduate or equivalent is required, and applicants must be at least 18 years old. Requirements

Previous Ford dealership or Ford Automotive Technician experience.
Ford recall repair experience.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and manage productivity.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

ASE and/or manufacturer certifications are strongly preferred.
