About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is hiring full- and part-time Foodservice Workers for Plattuetsche Home Society in Franklin Square. Depending on the location and assignment, work may include culinary team member, line and prep cook, or dietary aide duties. Team members work in a hospitality-focused dining environment and may plate food; set up and break down café, restaurant, or retail areas; assist with food preparation, dish room work, inventory, and sanitation; prepare and present meals; portion ingredients; or support patient and resident meal service. Dietary aides help with meal selection, tray setup, delivery, and removal while following dietary instructions under the guidance of clinical dietitian staff. Responsibilities

• Plate food and set up and break down café, restaurant, or retail dining areas.
• Assist with kitchen preparation, dish room duties, inventory of dry stock and perishable foods, and sanitation.
• Prepare and present meals according to Executive Chef menus.
• Inventory and portion ingredients.
• Help patients and residents with meal selection, tray setup, delivery, and removal of food trays.
• Follow patient dietary instructions under the guidance of clinical dietitian staff.
• Contribute where needed as part of a team and provide hospitality-focused service.
