About The Position

This role is responsible for providing beverages and food products consistently to all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. The position requires following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products, and preparing food and beverages to standard recipes, which may include customization for customers and recipe changes. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential for efficient operations. The role emphasizes delivering quality customer service by adopting a 'customer comes first' attitude, connecting with customers, and discovering and responding to their needs. Adherence to operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety, and security, is crucial to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift. Recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments, maintaining regular and punctual attendance, and engaging with customers through clear and pleasant communication are key aspects of the job. The position also involves performing various tasks during each shift and maintaining high levels of sanitation for all equipment in accordance with department policies, Health Dept. codes, and J.C.A.H.O. regulations. Contributing to a positive working environment and promoting teamwork by taking initiative to improve overall quality and exceed customer expectations are also important. Clear communication channels and constructive, sensitive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, patients, customers, parents, and all hospital staff are expected.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience in a similar position
  • Proficient in English both verbally and written
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Work occasionally requires contact with patients and/or visitors, which involves courtesy.
  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission.
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
  • Vaccination required for employment

Responsibilities

  • Provides beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes, customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients, or substituted ingredients.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.
  • Delivers quality customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
  • Discovers and responds to customer needs.
  • Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
  • Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods.
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
  • Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
  • Available to perform many different tasks during each shift.
