About The Position

Culinary Services Group (CSG) is hiring immediately for a Food Service Director position. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of foodservice management, including production, budgeting, procurement, team leadership, and client engagement. You’ll play a vital part in developing and implementing food and nutrition programs that exceed expectations, fostering team growth, and continuously enhancing service quality and operational efficiency. Your expertise in food service operations, quality assurance, team development, and financial performance will be essential to driving success. Working as a Director of Dining Services, you are responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for a dining account. You will manage and lead a team of associates. You will be responsible for managing client relations, along with ensuring that the food offered to the customers is of superior quality. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in managing high-performing teams, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service. Strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to build strong client relationships are key to thriving in this position.

Nice To Haves

  • BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
  • Three to five years of foodservice operation experience
  • High volume production and catering experience is essential
  • Previous experience managing a budget

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of foodservice management, including production, budgeting, procurement, team leadership, and client engagement.
  • Develop and implement food and nutrition programs that exceed expectations.
  • Foster team growth and continuously enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests and client as well as other departments.
  • Work with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food.
  • Oversee all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account.
  • Roll out new culinary programs.
