About The Position

The Food Services Representative I performs a range of duties preparing and serving food and beverages in food-service settings. Duties may include preparing salad, hot, and cold foods; assisting with bakery items; serving hospital patients and other dining-area patrons; performing tray-line duties; and participating in food services in admitted patient departments. The role works in both retail and patient-services environments and helps maintain food quality, safety, and appealing presentation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of food-service or retail customer-service experience.

Responsibilities

Assemble and deliver meal trays for patients.
Restock items on workstations and products for patient use on the tray line.
Collect soiled dishes, scrape trays, and wash, sanitize, and restock flatware and silverware.
Interact with patients when taking meal orders and delivering meal trays.
Monitor patient and retail food lines and test trays for quality, temperature, and food safety.
Inform department leadership about safety issues in units, the cafeteria, or the kitchen.
Remove trash from the kitchen.
Maintain Atlantic Health System's standards for appealing food presentation and preparation.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
