About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring an on-call Food Service Worker at Providence Health St. Luke's in Spokane, Washington. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed, supporting patients, caregivers, and the community while meeting food quality, service, sanitation, and safety standards. The schedule is on call, with days and hours varying; further details are provided during the interview. The stated pay range is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous food service experience.
• Ability to perform the position’s essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding them.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, the stove, and the refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas using required wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following outlined service steps.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
• Comply with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Meet sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
