About The Position

Morrison Living is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at The Sequoias San Francisco in San Francisco, California. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. The schedule is part-time, with days and hours that may vary, and weekend availability is required. The fixed pay rate is $21.64 per hour. Prior food service experience is preferred.

The position is part of Morrison Living’s culinary team and supports hospitality and culinary service for those the company serves. Team members work in a fun environment with supportive colleagues and may receive benefits depending on their employment status. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding them.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas using wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner according to outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
• Follow company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
