About The Position

White Oak Medical Center seeks a Food Service Worker who will support Adventist HealthCare’s mission to extend God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing. The role involves preparing food according to standardized recipes, stocking items for sale, following HACCP guidelines, and complying with department cleaning policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned. This is a variable part-time position averaging 18 hours per week. Shifts are eight hours and may fall anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The position is classified as a day shift, with every-other-weekend and holiday work required according to the company holiday calendar. The role is shift-differential eligible and pays $18.00–$22.79 per hour. The organization strongly recommends that applicants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before starting; proof may be required. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to four years of food service experience; experience is preferred, but the employer is willing to train the right candidate.
Hold a ServSafe certification or be able to pass ServSafe within 60 days.

Responsibilities

Prepare food and follow standardized recipes 100% of the time.
