About The Position

White Oak Medical Center seeks a Food Service Worker who will support Adventist HealthCare’s mission to extend God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing. The role prepares food according to standardized recipes, stocks items for sale, follows HACCP guidelines, and adheres to department cleaning policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned. This is a variable part-time position for 18 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts scheduled anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Weekend work is required every other weekend, and holiday work follows the company holiday calendar. The position is shift-differential eligible. Pay is $18.00–$22.79 per hour. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
ServSafe certification, or ability to pass ServSafe within 60 days.

Nice To Haves

One to four years of food service experience; the employer is willing to train the right candidate.
Experience reading recipes.
Experience working on a grill.

Responsibilities

Prepare food and follow standardized recipes 100% of the time.
Stock items to be sold.
Adhere to HACCP guidelines and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points requirements.
Follow department policies and procedures for cleaning.
Perform other duties as assigned.
