Responsibilities

Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude.
Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit and debit card terminals; handle exchanges efficiently.
Transport food and supplies to the cafeteria and assist with setup, maintenance, and breakdown of cafeteria, food-serving, and beverage areas.
Serve and replenish food at counters and steam tables.
Assist with hot and cold food preparation and store food properly according to temperature requirements and spoilage considerations.
Keep cafeteria and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized.
Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment during and after meal periods.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in other kitchen areas by completing daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.
Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
