Dietary Aide / Food Service Worker
About The Position
Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine is hiring a Food Service Worker / Dietary Aide to help nourish healing at its new 64-bed acute inpatient behavioral health hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. The hospital serves adults and geriatric patients in crisis and provides short-term stabilization for behavioral health and substance use disorders in partnership with National Health Corporation, Tennova Healthcare, and the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The role prepares and serves meals, follows therapeutic and modified diet guidelines, and maintains kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation compliance. The position is part of opening a new hospital dedicated to improving behavioral health.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in food service and healthcare.
- Willingness to learn food preparation, modified diets, and safety procedures.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- ServSafe certification, if required.
