About The Position

Join Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit, charitable, health system with multiple hospitals, clinics and facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This position is located at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA, and operates on a per diem basis during the evening shift, with a rotation for weekends and holidays, from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.

Requirements

  • Completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized training or courses.
  • A minimum of three years of related work experience required.
  • ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of start.
  • MA Allergen Awareness Certificate.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or provide a signed statement certifying exemption for medical or personal reasons upon hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Provide shift-to-shift leadership for the Retail Operations Department.
  • Onboard new staff and ensure proper training of all staff.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
