About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Food Service Utility associate at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. The position maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly while meeting sanitation and safety standards. Work includes cleaning floors, work surfaces and equipment; handling trash; moving and distributing supplies; assisting with deliveries; and helping set up banquet tables and front-of-house areas. Days and hours may vary, and weekend work is required.

Requirements

• Previous hospitality cleaning, stocking and receiving experience is required.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food preparation surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assist with loading, unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
