About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Food Service Utility at Ballad Health’s Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. The role maintains clean, orderly kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils while supporting food-service operations and complying with sanitation and safety requirements. The fixed pay rate is $13.00 per hour. Previous food service experience is a plus, and the position offers an opportunity for growth. Employment is contingent on clearing a criminal background check and drug screening after an offer; nicotine testing is not required. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces.
Remove trash and place it in designated containers.
Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Assist with banquet-table and front-of-house setup.
Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
