FOOD SERVICE UTILITY (PART TIME)
About The Position
Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a part-time Food Service Utility associate at Hackley School Upper in Tarrytown, New York. The role maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. Duties include cleaning floors and food preparation surfaces, removing and handling trash, moving supplies and equipment, assisting with banquet table and front-of-house setup, and loading, unloading, delivering, and distributing supplies and products. The position requires compliance with sanitation and safety requirements and may include other assigned duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional weekends and late nights. Previous dishwashing, kitchen, and food knowledge experience is preferred. Pay is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Meals are provided on shift; parking and growth opportunities are also noted. Free meals, uniforms, and laundering service are available at select locations. Requirements
- Previous dishwashing, kitchen, and food knowledge experience is preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
- Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
