About The Position

The Food Service Utility maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. The role supports food-service operations by cleaning floors and food-preparation surfaces, managing trash, moving and distributing supplies and equipment, assisting with banquet and front-of-house setup, and helping load, unload, and deliver products. The position is based at Cleveland Clinic - South Pointe in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Shifts vary and include evenings, weekends, and some holidays; the posting also lists a 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. shift. Pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until openings are filled.

Requirements

Previous food and/or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces.
Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
