FOOD SERVICE UTILITY (TEMPORARY)
About The Position
FLIK is hiring a temporary Food Service Utility associate at Becton Dickinson in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. The position maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary; further schedule details are provided upon interview. The fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Previous receiving experience is preferred. The position may become permanent. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing work areas, handling waste, moving and distributing supplies and equipment, and assisting with setup and deliveries. Free parking and a free shift meal are listed as perks. Free meals, uniforms, and laundering service are available at select locations. Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
- Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
- Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
