FOOD SERVICE CONCESSION (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Food Service Concession associate sells concessions, including soft drinks and food items, to customers at events. The role serves customers efficiently and courteously, handles sales and payments, maintains accurate cash records, replenishes supplies, and keeps the concession area clean while meeting sanitation and safety requirements. The position is full time at Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, Florida, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule; hours may vary. Previous concession experience is required. Pay is $18.50 to $20.00 per hour. Flik Independent School Dining is part of Compass Group and provides foodservice and nutrition education in private and independent school communities. Requirements
- Previous concession experience is required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Sell concessions, including soft drinks and food items, to customers at events.
- Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner, following outlined service steps.
- Interact with customers, resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner, and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
- Complete sales transactions in a timely manner and record purchases accurately in the cash register.
- Make change, accept approved forms of payment, and issue receipts.
- Follow cash-handling procedures and manage assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring the cash drawer meets overage and shortage standards.
- Replenish condiments and general supplies and maintain cleanliness in the concession area.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
