About The Position

The Food Service Attendant maintains front-of-house areas and coffee stations, keeping service areas clean, attractive, and stocked. The role includes merchandising products to Guckenheimer standards and greeting guests to create a welcoming experience. Employees are expected to provide outstanding hospitality, follow safety procedures, complete required HACCP temperature-control tasks, and comply with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and pays $25.00 to $27.00 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to remain calm and work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods.
Ability to work on one's feet for up to eight hours per day, excluding breaks.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
Wear the required uniform and dress according to the dress code, including non-slip shoes and a name tag.
Maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

Maintain front-of-house and coffee station areas, keeping them neat, clean, and attractive.
Maintain product inventory at established levels and keep the contracted coffee program supplied.
Recognize products, accurately restock and rotate them, and ensure merchandise areas are adequately stocked throughout the day.
Greet, smile at, and serve customers, making them feel welcome.
Complete required HACCP tasks to ensure safe temperature control.
Display merchandise attractively and label items and signs.
Follow safety rules and actively help prevent accidents.
Adhere to HSEQ policies and procedures, participate in HSEQ training, and report potential hazards or compliance concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
