About The Position
The Food Service Associate supports patient care at St. Francis Hospital by preparing and delivering meals accurately and carefully. The role also serves food to patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining dietary guidelines, sanitation standards, and clean, safe food preparation and service areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic reading and math skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, and serve food for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Deliver patient meals and assist with menu selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in food preparation and service areas.
- Follow dietary guidelines and sanitation standards.
