About The Position
Join the Nutrition Services team at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, a healthcare environment located on 80 acres in Oakland County. The hospital combines clinical care with wellness amenities including ponds, a greenhouse, walking trails, and a demonstration kitchen. As a Food Service Worker, you will prepare and serve meals to patients, employees, and visitors. You will also support daily operations by performing cashier duties, managing inventory, and assisting in the diet office or dish room. The role contributes to providing nutritious meals and maintaining food service and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or six months to one year of previous work experience in a food service or cash handling setting.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
