About The Position

NHC is seeking a part-time Food Service Aide for NHC HealthCare Mauldin in Greenville, South Carolina. The role supports food service operations by receiving and storing food and supplies, using proper food-handling techniques, and cleaning, sanitizing, transporting, and storing dishes and food-service equipment. The aide ensures sufficient clean and sanitized items are available to meet meal preparation and service schedules. Requirements

Have or be willing to learn food preparation and cooking skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and ensure product quality.
Date, label, and store items properly.
Use proper food-handling techniques.
Scrape, stack, wash, and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, and pans.
Remove broken or chipped dishes and glassware from use.
Wrap flatware when needed.
Properly transport and store dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, and pans.
Maintain sufficient quantities of clean and sanitized dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, and pans for meal preparation and service schedules.
