About The Position

The Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide works at a critical illness recovery hospital in Miami Lakes, Florida, supporting inpatient post-ICU care for chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. This role performs patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services, and helps prepare and serve food to patients, families, staff, and visitors. The aide also assists with cleanup and helps in other kitchen areas when needed. Work must be timely, efficient, high quality, and safe, with scheduled shift procedures completed without compromising the quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
• Assist with food preparation and serve prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with cleanup.
• Prepare food in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide high-quality food preparation and service.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising quality.
• Help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties safely.
