About The Position
This Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide performs patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services. The role contributes to food preparation, serves prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, and assists with cleanup. The position is full-time in Miami Lakes, Florida, with compensation of $18.05–$22 per hour based on experience.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous healthcare food service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
- Assist with food preparation and serve prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with cleanup.
- Prepare food in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide high-quality food preparation and service.
- Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising work quality.
- Volunteer to help in other kitchen areas when necessary.
- Operate equipment and perform related duties safely.
