Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide - Full-time
About The Position
This full-time position provides patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services at a critical illness recovery hospital in San Diego, California. The hospital provides inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide helps prepare food, serve it to patients, families, staff, and visitors, and assist with cleanup. The role requires timely, efficient work, high-quality food preparation and service, completion of scheduled procedures without compromising work quality, and safe operation of equipment. Team members may also help in other kitchen areas when needed.

Responsibilities
- Perform patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
- Assist with food preparation and serve prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with cleanup.
- Prepare food in a timely and efficient manner while providing high-quality food preparation and service.
- Complete procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising work quality.
- Help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
- Operate equipment and perform related duties safely.
