About The Position

NHC HealthCare Milan is seeking a dependable, caring part-time Food & Nutrition Services (FNS) Aide to support its dietary team. The role assists with evening meal service, maintains a clean and sanitary dining environment, and helps deliver quality nutritional care to patients and residents. The schedule is 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., approximately 12–16 hours per week.

Requirements

Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Willingness to work scheduled evening hours.

Nice To Haves

Previous food service or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus and dietary instructions.
Prepare meal trays and help ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.
Assist with evening dining room setup, meal service, and cleanup.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.
Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, storage, and food preparation areas.
Properly store food and supplies and follow safe food handling practices.
Follow sanitation, infection control, safety, and NHC procedures.
Provide courteous service to patients, residents, families, visitors, and fellow partners.
Assist the Food & Nutrition Services team with additional duties as assigned.
