About The Position

NHC HealthCare Milan in Milan, Tennessee, is seeking a dependable and caring full-time Dietary Aide (Food & Nutrition Services Aide). The position assists with meal preparation and service, maintains a clean and sanitary dining environment, and supports the team in providing nutritional care to patients and residents. The schedule consists of rotating shifts from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; candidates must be available to work both shifts as scheduled. Requirements

Dependable and punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Must be available to work both the 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. shifts as scheduled.

Nice To Haves

Previous food service or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus and dietary instructions.
Prepare meal trays and help ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.
Assist with dining room setup, meal service, and cleanup.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.
Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, storage, and food preparation areas.
Properly store food and supplies and follow safe food handling practices.
Follow sanitation, infection control, safety, and NHC procedures.
Provide courteous service to patients, residents, families, visitors, and fellow partners.
Assist the Food & Nutrition Services team with additional duties as assigned.
