About The Position
Delta Hotels by Marriott is hiring a part-time weekend Food Server for its Ridgeline Restaurant. The position provides food and beverage service to hotel guests and other restaurant customers during breakfast and lunch. The server takes and delivers orders, provides room service, handles guest requests, and works with hotel departments while delivering friendly, courteous, timely hospitality.
Requirements
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
- Ability to use a knife to cut bread, handle glassware and serving items, scoop ice, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.
- Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 pounds through a crowded room continuously throughout a shift.
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
Responsibilities
- Check and stock stations before, during, and after shifts to maintain proper setup and cleanliness.
- Greet guests courteously, present menus, and describe specials or restaurant promotions.
- Record guest orders and accurately enter them into the point-of-sale system.
- Deliver orders and confirm their accuracy.
- Replenish beverages and check guests’ overall satisfaction.
- Ensure workstations meet sanitation and safety standards for guests and team members.
- Perform general cleaning, wipe down tables, and reset tables for new guests.
- Take and deliver room service orders, handle special guest requests, and greet and seat guests.
